Eszterlánc Ensemble
The Eszterlánc Ensemble was founded in 2005 in Plaiesii de Jos/Kászonaltíz, Hargita county, Romania with the goal of introducing primary school students to Hungarian folk dancing so that they come to love, appreciate and understand Hungarian culture.
Children are eager to learn and continue the great Hungrian and Szekler traditions, folk music and dances. Being part of a folk dance group provides the children not only with physical and social opportunities in the society, but it also helps them to trust themselves, to learn working as a groups, sharing their ideas and improving themselves. We also try to teach young people how to live an active community life.
