Folk dance weekend for Zergeboglár
Kinga Tomory and Gergő Tomory, the choreographers of the Zergeboglár ensemble were in Kászon on 28–30 April 2012.
On the long weekend the Zergeboglár practiced the Dances of Szatmár and Kalotaszeg 6-8 hours per day. They prepared for the Tengertánc Festival held in Gyöngyös on 18th of May, 2012.
Donations for the medical treatment of Szász Alpár
As a response to the call for donations for the operation of Szász Alpár, appeared in the media and on the internet, the Zergeboglár ensemble helped to gather financial support in the village.

Communal Competition in Poetry – Final
The Kazun Association in cooperation with Dr. Lukács Mihály Primary School held the Communal Competition in Poetry on 23th of March 2012.

The deadline to apply for the Social Grants Program announced by the Kazun Association passed on 31st of October 2011. In total, 29 high school and 9 university students applied for the grant.
